The Delmarva Review is a nonprofit literary journal dedicated to the discovery of engaging new fiction, poetry, and creative nonfiction. We publish annually to inspire writers who pursue excellence in literary writing.
The 2014 edition presents the work of 40 contributors from 14 states, Washington, D.C., and one foreign country. Readers, many of whom are writers and teachers, will find diversity of craft and narrative voice among the compelling pieces selected for this edition.
The Review welcomes prose and poetry submissions, in English, from all authors. We encourage outstanding story-telling and moving poetry. Our standards are for memorable prose and poetry exhibiting skillful expression. Please consult the Submission Guide for all submissions.
We also seek illustrative work in the form of photography or other art to be considered for the cover and inside pages.
Volume 7 of the Review, published in October 2014, in available in both print and ebook editions from all major online booksellers (Amazon.com, BarnesandNoble.com, Apple, etc), as well as regional libraries and bookstores. Online distribution is virtually worldwide.
The Delmarva Review is published by the Eastern Shore Writers Association Education Fund (ESWA), a 501(c)(3) tax exempt organization supporting the literary arts across the tristate region of the Delmarva Peninsula, including portions of Maryland, Delaware, and Virginia.
Publication of the seventh issue of The Delmarva Review is funded by private contributions and sales.
